The Macintosh cult derives from the purchase and subsequent use of a Macintosh computer. It is a subcult of Apple.

This cult's main goal is to systematically discriminate against other competitors by permanently leasing their computers to their consumers, and making the Mac OS X a requirement to boot the computer.
