The cult of Scientology was started by Ron L. Hubbard. This cult has especially many followers in Hollywood. They like to sue people for any mention of their cult or its doctrine.

Scientology is legally recognized as a tax-exempt religion in the United States and some other countries, and the Church of Scientology emphasizes this as proof that it is a bona fide religion.

Scientology only allows a passive formal membership in a second religion. Members are not allowed to engage in other religious activities or ceremonies. L. Ron Hubbard stated that in reality, "there is no Heaven and there was no Christ."
